Piaget’s gemmologists select stones of only the most superior quality. Diamonds all meet the highest standards of colour (D to G) and clarity (IF to VVS), and they are tested according to stringent in-house guidelines. Carat, colour, cut, clarity – nothing escapes the scrutiny of our experts at Piaget Manufacture. The gemmologists roam the planet in search of rubies, emeralds, sapphires and diamonds that our gem-cutters will shape to perfection, such as a princess-cut gem or an oval stone pillow-cut to highlight its beauty. The integration of such a full range of skills and professions effectively nurtures the expertise handed down from one generation to the next in the Piaget jewellery workshop, which by dint of creativity and success has become the largest in Geneva.
