New York Premiere of “The East”
Actress Brit Marling blossoms in Piaget Rose jewellery
Piaget was proud to partner with Fox Searchlight Pictures for the New York premiere of “The East.” Co-writer and star, Brit Marling, looked effortlessly chic pairing a Piaget Rose pendant in white gold set with diamonds with a white long-sleeved dress. Marling, who has made a name for herself on the red carpet and in the elusive world of independent film, is the first to wear this piece from the new Piaget Rose jewellery collection.
Cast members and Academy Award nominees Ellen Page and Patricia Clarkson as well as “True Blood” star, Alexander Skarsgård, joined co-writer and director Zal Batmanglij for the premiere and an after-party held at the Lower East Side’s Hotel Chantelle. A mix of New York’s downtown crowd as well as up-and-coming actors and friends including Zoe Kazan and boyfriend Paul Dano, Zachary Levi, Eric West, Jake Hoffman, Heather Matarazzo and Billy Magnussen turned out to help celebrate. Also in attendance was performance artist, Marina Abramović, fashion icon and creative director of Vogue, Grace Coddington, filmmakers David Chase and Robert Benton, DJ duo, AndrewAndrew, MTV host, Lenay Dunn and Kim Schifino and Matt Johnson of Matt & Kim.
Piaget has a longstanding commitment to independent film and the arts and has been a principle sponsor of the Film Independent Spirit Awards for many years
