Piaget Boutique in Taiwan

Piaget, the renowned Swiss purveyor of luxury watches and jewellery has entered the Central Taiwanese market for luxury goods. The grand opening of its newest boutique in Taichung's Top City Mall is representative of Piaget's approach to the overall Taiwanese market. To celebrate its first boutique in central Taiwan, Piaget exhibited selections from its top-of-the-line jewellery and timepiece collection at a sumptuous opening gala. These included the ultra-thin Altiplano watches that astonished the world at the Geneva Watch Fair in January, several diamond-edged skeleton watches, and emerald and diamond encrusted jewellery from the multi-million dollar Limelight Garden Party collection. As honoured guests of the grand opening celebration, idol drama heartthrob Lan Zhenglong and famed model Tiffany Hsu added a dash of celebrity allure to the elegance of Piaget, much to the delight of central Taiwan.
Piaget's first boutique in Taichung adds glamour to Top City Mall
Piaget has been operating in Taiwan for more than ten years. Since opening its first Taiwanese boutique in 2001, it has relied upon a network of retailers to sell to central Taiwan. With this new boutique, Piaget will now sell its collections directly to the consumer in northern, central and southern Taiwan. At the press conference, Liu Yuxuan, general manager of Piaget Taiwan, had this to say: "Taichung fans of Piaget watches and jewellery, your long wait is over! Piaget has arrived!" Her clamour was an acknowledgement of the fervent anticipation for the opening of the Taichung boutique.
The boutique is situated on the much trafficked first floor of Top City Mall. Its layout and aesthetic are in line with Piaget boutiques throughout the world, reflecting the company's unchanging devotion to harmonious, sumptuous, subtle and modern design. The large display light boxes at the entrance reflect the elegance of the world renowned brand and offer a respectful welcome to customers. The majestic interior of the retail space is appointed with Piaget's signature blue and deep natural wood tones. Meticulously designed lighting contributes to the subtle luxury of the new boutique, an exquisitely planned space exhibiting a level of craftsmanship on par with that demanded by the company's top-of-the-line jewellery and timepieces. It is a space that more than satisfies the expectations of the high end client in central Taiwan.
The Top City Mall, whose construction costs were in excess of 10 billion dollars, is one of the linchpin properties of Taichung's Seventh Redevelopment Zone. The first and second floors have been set aside for retail stores. As the popularity of the mall and the boutique grows, Piaget will benefit from the prosperity of central Taiwan.
