The movements with small complications
561P movement
Self-winding, retrograde seconds
Manufacture Piaget 561P self-winding mechanical movement with retrograde seconds display, date and power-reserve indicator.
The 561P self-winding mechanical movement is a variation of the 500P movement. It stands out from the crowd because of the addition of retrograde seconds at 12 o'clock (a Fine Watchmaking small complication) and its aperture for a large date display at 6 o'clock. The retrograde second function, appearing at 12 o'clock on the movement, shifts back to zero every 30 seconds. A power-reserve indicator is featured at 6 o'clock.
The circular Côtes de Genève, the circular-grained mainplate, the bevelled bridges and the blued screws round off this exceptional movement, recalling the aesthetic codes cherished by the Swiss watchmaking brand.
