The movements with small complications
835P movement
Hand-wound, retrograde seconds, Regulator
Manufacture Piaget 835P hand-wound mechanical regulator movement.
The 835P is a hand-wound, regulator mechanical movement. This traditional Fine Watchmaking complication was used by watchmakers to check the accuracy of their precision clocks. The hours, minutes and seconds are displayed on separate dials, at the centre, 6 and 12 o'clock respectively.
In a traditional yet original feature, the movement also has a retrograde seconds counter, located at 12 o'clock, that flies back to zero every 30 seconds.
The circular Côtes de Genève, circular-grained mainplate, bevelled bridges, blued screws and engraved Piaget coat-of-arms adding the finishing touches to this movement are reminders of the Swiss watchmaking brand's high aesthetic values.
