In 1964, Piaget went beyond the limits of what was possible by pushing mechanical performance and the watchmaker's art to the extremes of miniaturisation. With the recent availability of new ultra-thin movements, the 9P and 12P, the Manufacture launches what will remain one of its greatest creative traditions: hard stone dials. An innovative know-how, emblematic of Piaget, perpetuated today in its Altiplano collection, proving that technique and sophistication, however great they might be, can be comfortably housed in a small space. A numbered edition, available exclusively in the network of Piaget boutiques, each watch highlights the uniqueness of a type of stone. Set with a row of diamonds, this 24 mm diameter watch combines white gold and opal. A mysterious stone, celebrated for its iridescence, the opal is at the heart of numerous legends in Europe but also in Australia where there are significant deposits. On this watch of feminine proportions, Piaget has highlighted its enchanting blue and green reflections.
