White gold moon phases tourbillon Watch - Piaget Luxury Watch G0A35121

Watch G0A35121

Tourbillon, moon-phases, mechanical, white gold

A revolutionary movement imbued with classicism and discretion... To house the thinnest shaped tourbillon movement in the world - just 3.5 mm thick! - Piaget has chosen the case of the Piaget Emperador watch in white gold. The elegance of this timepiece is its greatest asset. Its guilloché dial punctuated with applied gold hour markers and an opaline centre surrounded by a fine golden thread opens onto the queen of complications, originally positioned at 12 o'clock. It also unveils the astronomical moon-phase indicator at 6 o'clock brought to life by this masterpiece of the watchmaker's art, which can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.

Tourbillon Movement

Tourbillon Movement
As an authentic watch Manufacture, Piaget designs, develops and builds all its mechanical movements in-house. Among the complication movements, the most difficult to master is the tourbillon regulator. For three solid years, watchmakers strove to create a movement reflecting Piaget’s unparallelled skills, and the multi-patented result is at once spectacular and beautiful to behold. Stemming from Piaget’s mastery of ultra-thin movements, but also from the company’s determination to consistently push the limits, Calibre 600P is the thinnest tourbillon movement in the world (a mere 3.5 millimetres). Its carriage is particularly sophisticated, composed of 42 miniscule parts, including three titanium bridges, and weighing in at just 0.2 grammes. The flying tourbillon, mounted on a single axis, is topped by the initial “P”, which adds to the complexity of the poising. To ensure maximum precision, the assembly and casing up of each 600P is entrusted to a single watchmaker.
