A sleek dial and extremely slender baton hands accentuate the minimalist design of this contemporary-sized Altiplano featuring off-centered small seconds. The movement appears through a sapphire crystal case back.

838P movement
A variation on the 830P movement, the 838P movement is an ultra-thin hand-wound mechanical movement with an increased power reserve compared to its predecessors, and measuring only 2.5 mm thick. It is a direct descendant of the legendary 9P movement and belongs to the third generation of ultra-thin movements created by the watchmaker Piaget.
The movement is enhanced with a screw balance, as befits an example of Fine Watchmaking. While losing none of the extreme finesse inherited from the 830P movement, the 838P movement is distinguished by the addition of an off-centred small seconds indication at 10 o'clock, the true hallmark of Piaget.
Finally, the circular Côtes de Genève, circular-grained mainplate, bevelled bridges, blued screws and engraved Piaget coat of arms round off this exceptional movement, while remaining true to the aesthetic codes cherished by the Swiss watchmaking brand.
