1270S skeleton movement

This movement's inverted structure gives a view on its display side of its tourbillon, bridges and oscillating weight in black PVD-treated platinum. The off-centred and black-surfaced micro-rotor and tourbillon cage, surmounted by a letter 'P' for 'Piaget', intertwine to form an '8' in a contemporary colour tone, matched by the deep black of the screws and hands. This unique structure makes visible all the watch's main functions – its self-winding mechanism, its driving force, its regulating system and its gear-train – together with its hours and minutes hands, which are also off-centred.
